Answers:    Hinduism is actually call Sanatana Dharma(Eternal law) and is among the oldest of the world's faiths. Even though here are numerous beliefs within Hinduism, they are adjectives mostly based on the Vedas which is believed to own been revealed to the Sages & Seers by God and is the the oldest article still been used.It is also drastically much a living tradition.

The first fundamental principle of Hindu Dharma is that "the Reality is one without a second." This realness is beyond description by human mind. Hence it is indicated by a single world, "Brahman". "Infinite, eternal, changeless existence is the All; from that All, All comes forth; to that All, all returns," that is to say what the Chandogya Upanishad(one among the numerous sacred text of Hinduism) tells us.

Hinduism is the lone faith to enjoy boldly and confidently proclaimed that "Truth is one, the wise christen it by various name." (Rig Veda).

Hinduism may not be called simply as a religion in the sense other religions are set. It has no founder. It is much more than a religion. It is a total passageway of life.

Hindu also understand more than any other religionist in
the world, the concept of a mellow global society that should bring together, prosper and live in peace. "lOkAsamastA sukhinO bhavantu" and ‘vasudhaiva kuTumbakaM’ which method let every point and every one in this world be restful and happy and this world as one big domestic.

Hinduism lays emphasis on direct Experience of the Divine
a bit than on authority. The scriptures are just tools which help out you to realise the self, realise God and realise your relationship with God.

The most hallowed of Hindu texts - The Vedas, the Brahmanas, the Aranyakas, and the Upanishads. The Bagavad Gita rendered by Avatar of God, Sir Lord Krishna have the gist of these sacred text.

Hindus believe that God is everything and everthing is God thus it is obtuse to confuse Hinduism's metaphors with idolatry, and their multiplicity next to polytheism. They believe that what ever you follow with utmost devotion will organize you to the final goal which is the Realisation of the Ultimate authenticity and Truth.
Hinduism ... follwing the Hindu religion, faith follwed largely contained by India, plus india being a secular country, at hand are also followers of most other religions...likewise hinduism have followers in countries across the world. It encompass numerous gods , godesses and deities(myth go about 33 crore ... i crore would be a 1 followed by 7 zeros), nearby is a god for everything, there are 1000s of srcipturesand books of erudition that speaks of ways to be humble appease god, rituals to be followed. Well theres loads and probably has the most rules and rituals, however if i could summarize the essence, the religion revolves around a conservatory of thought that the soul is immortal and we and our bodies are merely carriers of a never-dying soul. we are instuments of God, and if are born we own to die one day, our bodies will rest surrounded by dust and become one of the elements. Therefore, ideally there is no place for greed, agitation, hatred etc. etc. motivation we all hold to pass on soon,. so live a life of service and magnanimity... b'cos at the end you bring back "moksha" or salvation of the soul, angelic deeds will only bless the soul ... :) deeply good
Read our epics; Ramayana and Mahabharata to return with a sense of Hinduism and Indian culture Please go to http://www.hinduwisdom.info/introduction... and http://www.hinduism.co.za/ for more information against Hinduism.
Hindu comes from "Indus" which was a river within India..
So mostly Hindu doesnt really relate to Hinduism rather than a religion. Hinduism is not a religion, its a see in India.

But presently it has become a different religion to some extent than a race.

I guess Indus also come from "Indra" who is King of Gods as per Hindu Mythology.

Hinduism have its base at the start of this Universe.
So it basically that Hinduism hasnt got an Origin..its Eternal..no start and no cease..

Hindu Gods are based on crude elements..
Finally its reaching God..that means reaching Nature itself..

The biggest basic elements are Nature and God..

God created everything and Nature.God is supreme and rules the humour.U can imagine God as any article u want..whom u like..it doest renovation the core of God..This is the prime principle of Hinduism

So hinduism is nature itself..Its not something else..its around Humanity and Nature..
Its all something like humanity feelings love, holiness etc.,..Nothing is permananent contained by this world except for God and Soul..Soul is an integral part of God

Its adjectives about human values..

Religion is the one which will bind and not the one which will separate..specifically the motto of Hinduism
