There are masses options for buying silk. There is "Nalli's Silks" on MG Road. Then near is another shop near Deepam sarees on impossible to tell apart road. Or you can try Chikpet Try Favorite Shop on Commercial Street for both Saris and salwars. You could also try Liberty Sarees on Commercial Street (on the right side, upstairs, just as you enter the street). If you are going to Favorite Shop, run into Kamal and use my name as referral. You can't walk wrong.
-I would recommend 'Nalli' which is on the MG Road for silk sarees, reason individual that you could find a huge variety of sarees; I own never seen the prices be haggled at within Nalli, and had other heard apposite about the shop
-Try out 'Chikpet' solely if can make out apt silk from the rest, else there is a virtuous chance that you do not carry the money's worth
