I have an exam to write at JNU New Delhi campus. Need mansion on 21'22and 23 May 08, Budget 1000 to 1500 Rupees per night. Can you suggest any specifically close to the campus ?

I m one of the University employee would similar to to suggest you to visit Katwaria Sarai 4 accomodation its nearly 1.5 km from JNU OR u can also search within Munirka or Ber Sarai Area. Although all are residential nouns but you can find accommodation here easly. If you wish to stay within Hotel only next u can get surrounded by Vasant Kunj only in the region of of your budget
Vasant Continental and Hotel The Grand are some of the good hotels situated terribly near to JNU.

As 1st answer say, Qutub Hotel is best.
There are many Hotels contained by Adchini on Qutb Road/ Aurobindo Road.
Also you may manage some Guest Houses. Google and see.
