Bus to pondicherry?
Need a good deluxe bus to pondycherry from Chennai...what are my option? Any taveling agency that can help me?
Answers: Hi, you own many option; if you want to try impromptu, the place to go is the Koyambedu bus stand (on the ring road) where on earth you will get hourly semi-deluxe buses.
If you want to play it secure, you can get SETC (formerly, thiruvalluvar transport corporation) deluxe buses from their bus stand contained by Parrys area. The bus No. 803 E which go on the ECR road is very upright and recommended - takes nearly 3.5 hours and buses are available frequently (call them at 25363834 or 25341736 and make your enquiries and reservations).
You can also opt for the private bus of KPN travels (see http://www.kpntravels.surrounded by ) and can make bookings through them for their private deluxe buses as economically. Their office is located at T. Nagar and phone number is 44-24359590, 24336854 (they own offices surrounded by other locations as well).
Finally, if you are arriving at airport, you can get the private taxi and sometimes you could be lucky and end up sharing beside others and that way share the hackney carriage fare.
