Any more french guesthouses within Pondicherry?
I'm living in Pondicherry and when my friends be visiting me from Canada, i booked this modern french guesthouse/home stay called "La Maison Blanche" run by Sylvain Labiche. I would absolutely recommend this to everybody. Check out their website at http://www.lamaisonblanche.in

Answers: Not a personal recommendation but check this site --- have several listings under Guesthouses, beside French names. Since you are a Pondicherry resident you are within a better position to ask around and get the dipper...

Vinoth...Try "Duplex" behind older RTO near Beach road and GH...authentically french at really very dignified cost! the waiters speak frenh here! amazing ambience! You can also try other alternatives approaching "The Promenade" on beach road...or "La Heriatge" on MG road towards Muthialpet!
Auroville have good places call "Homestays"...in other lingo Paying Guests or Service Apartments! Once again these are not advertised...you necessitate to to the international Village and make inquiries near the localites there! They are not expensive and are suitable places to stay for a vacation...especially for foreigners who similar to privacy!
