Answers: The largest organizations aren't necessarily the best - they habitually have the largest % of admin fees.
You can sponsor a child for approx $25 / month through Baal Dan Charities (www.baaldan.com). Baal Dan's biggest goal is to provide street children and orphans near food, clothing, etc. However, they also have a child sponsorship program for completely impoverished children attending (or trying to attend) conservatory in India. The sponsorship will provide the child near: food, clothing, school uniform, arts school supplies, tuition, rent, and all other deep needs.
When sponsoring a child, nearby are almost no administrative fees involved on Baal Dan's part - this channel almost 100% of your donation will go straight to the kids. If you contact them (info(a)baaldan.com), they will transport you bio's of kids you can sponsor, and more info about the institution they are attending.

CRY. they are the best. I find it best to deal next to the Red Crescent. I always use them for charity, and they're the largest supervision out there.
