Plz tel why?

why is the difference between the durations of day and darkness hardly feel at kanniyakumari but not so in kashmir??

Answers: kannyakumari is nearer the equator and Kashmir is further away.
As we walk away from the equator the difference between the day feathery and night hours increase . The difference is maximum at the Arctic and the Antarctic regions where on earth there is sun for 6 months and no sun for the subsequent six months.
