What is the prospect for a WL20(2AC) to gain RAC or confirmed within 12 days time?
The booking is on the Mumbai-Chennai Express for 21st December
Answers: Likelihood is not to get any.since the no.of seating on upper classes are less, so the possibility of cancelation and release of quota seating at last moment.
I learn that, once didn't get confirmation of a WL1 ticket contained by a 1st AC (Chennai-Howrah). I went up to the GM of Chennai Central and he explained me the possibility of WL tickets confirmation, how it works. Chances are substandard and thin near upper class ticket.
I cancelled that ticket and took the next morning flight.
