Can Ahmedabad be one of the finest metropolitian cities by 2010?
Answers: well accoridng to my experience...ahd cannot be a big city lately by putting a dozen malls up...
first of all the stuff they own in malls within ahmedabad are 5 years old compared to what you find in mumbai and 10 years antediluvian waht u get surrounded by america! -
and american stores like levi's, espirit-with the type of stuff they get is degrading the brand.
secondly ahd needs to hoist off the bar of booze! i mean wht nice of life can u enjoy just by going to malls?
secondly we requirement to increase recreation-more ymca's more health clubs, more clubs-and i don't parsimonious the disco's with funky indian music!!
ahd is merely "big" for ppl who never stepped out of gujarat...
if there is president rule and a governor similar to p.c.alaxander ready to hold the governor seat afterwards it will be not only finest but the first best metropolitian city by 2010. not until its planner realise that it have good public mass transport which make the city vibrant. Other wise it will remain over grown metro small town. Increasing the cars lineraly with dollar remitance will not spawn a'bad dynamic city.
Not until Narendra Modi is serving as the CM..bring him down & the whole Gujrat can make heights of prosperity. yes if we try to sort it will posible
