i have been to here a couple of months back. There is no apt hotel nearby. Even the shoreline was slightly lonely. I would suggest staying in Alibaug and afterwards reach Kashid seaside by auto rickshaws which are amply available. (hotel ramakant, big splash) www.tourisminindia.com
