Excuse you but adjectives indians are not hindu just because a smalll majority is doesn't be a sign of we all are. We're sikh, muslim, and ba hai plus countless more. Thats approaching saying adjectives arabs are muslim.

Even Hindustani is not the right term. Don't enunciate "he is AN Indian." Say "he is Indian." Hindu refers to a religion, and there are masses people who are from India who are not Hindu, but Muslim or Buddhist or other religions.
