Ja,Forgettance Day Germany have a Volkstrauertag day, which is two sundays past Advent, and is to remember those who died in period of war.
I think Germany should to some extent have a "cheer day". And I think it should be the 9th of November, although this have been a mournful day contained by German history sometimes, but it was also the morning when the Mauer (the Berlin Wall) fell by the will and the power of the people. We should own made this our Remembrance Day, remembering the tears of joy and the enthusiasm, but also thinking of what happen on another Nov9ths in our history. The properly selected current national holiday, Oct3rd, is rather neglected by the those. That was the daytime the unification treaty was signed, or so. Well, nobody care. It's a holiday, and you'll have a daytime off work, so what?

Read roughly speaking the 9th of November, and what it meant to German history, and I'm sure you'll appreciate why I propose this as OUR national holiday AND remembrance day.
We own, and it's even free of selv-love. Germans were dying for their country, and their family, and for god - or should I say, they be told so, like every soldier surrounded by the world who was sent out to assassinate, and die. It was a doomed to failure end to be executed as a "coward" instead, close to everywhere in the world. And the "strongest" of adjectives, who were full of "patriotism", conversation, and acting quicker than they could think, be the first to die, like everywhere surrounded by the world. The survivors were building monuments following, and introduced a Rememberance Day, like... Ours will be subsequent Sunday. Trauer means sorrow, or mourning. Germans are helping the UN in Afganistan and Iraq.
I a moment ago wish someone would sick the Luftwaffe on the mountains where on earth Bin Laden is hiding.
