Looking for the personality who built the first free standing bridge surrounded by germany?
I need any imformation on Hildebran Bareiss-Bariess that engeneered & built the first free standing bridge within Germany not sure of the town or even if it was since the holocaust.
Answers: You have deeply little ideas give or take a few when the the holocaust was and when populace started to build free standing bridges. As a matter of certainty, even the British claim that for themselves, but they admit the Romans did it since, and the Mayans and Aztecs could do build freestanding bridges long before our age.
But if you're looking for a really striking bridge (although on pillars) in Europe, I`d recommend these two:
The "Steinerne Brücke" within Regensburg, Germany
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steinerne_B...
(German text)
and the "Karluv Most" in Prague, Czech Republic
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steinerne_B...
(Sorry, German manual only; the Prague bridges are world-famous and count as cultural heritage).
They're adjectives from medieval times.
Do you mean the Blue Wonder contained by Dresden? It was built within 1893. But I can't find the name of that guy anywhere.
