Generally what do Germans construe of Australians and Australia?
Im australian and im moving to germany and im just wondering also is nearby any common links between Australia and Germany
Answers: most I know are fascinated next to Australia so i think you will capably lots to talk roughly.
Im American and I have be to both places. I lived in Germany and I enjoy been to Syndey Australia as economically and I can tell you that in attendance is a LARGE difference in life span styles from all three countries!!
It will not be a dissapointment i am sure. I loved BOTH countries greatly much, it just does not receive as hot and you do not need adjectives the sun block as you do is Australia. I remember Bondi beach and Manley shoreline and the sunburns my friends had.
In the baltic deep-sea North Germany i got a sunburn but no where on earth as bad as Australia. So I have an idea that you will do fine as long as you are out going and friendly and TRY YOUR BEST to speak German to people. They will respect you more if you try to swot up as much as you can.
good travels!
Is nearby any Common links? Yes, & it's been said, (BEER,) However, I'v spent time within OZ, once or twice, I have also worked contained by Germany, it is appreciated if you try and pick-up some words in German, every one like a tryer, noch ein bier bitte! selbst eine? you'll be fine, have fun. Australians? Friendly, drink lots of beer, supportive, nice, drink lots of beer, communicative, drink lots of beer, smile often, enjoy a nice accent and drink lots of beer :-)
You will similar to it here because I think german beer is considered to be fairly good.
Other than that Australia is one of the countries where on earth many germans would resembling to spend their life. Not freshly because of the beer attitude ;-)
They all live close to Crocodile Dundee.
Greetings from Hamburg, Germany

from having worked within many primary school in germany, i can enlighten you that all children within germany are fascinated with australia and the australians, because they come across to think that you live upside down. as for the broad population in germany, here is no hatred for australia from the german national.
hope this helps! all right, we don't think anything discouraging about you, so you enjoy nothing to verbs about
i'd voice we like it, closely of poeple would like to travel nearby..and that it is a continent very hugely far far far far away....there be a tv serie used to be shown, a man travilling basicly alone throuh the country and telling you things in the order of the land and the animals, and how to survive within the desert, how to cath a fish and so. (i cant remember the name) it was highly popular.
opals come from australia, and nicole kidman too
well here are kangaroos and crocodiles and lots of underwaterworld, there are the aboriginees next to a digeridoo and that those people are be treatet a little bit similar to the indians in the us.
I know (imagine Australian accent) zilch about Australians, but friends of mine 'ave be to Oz, an' they like you completely much. And I'm on to www.kixcountry.com.au sometimes, just to hear the newspeople speak that wonderful Oz-trail-ee-ann dialect.
Don't seize into history too much, just come over here, be prepared for a culture shock and snow contained by winter, but: Do it! You're welcome, K"ANGURUH!
Speaking for myself, I don't know much more or less Australians.
When I think roughly speaking Australia, I think of Koals bear, Didgeridoos (how do you write that?) and Boomerangs...or am I in the wrong continent ;-)...oh ja.and Aboriginals
