1/2 kg Flour
20 g yeast
50 g sugar
1/4 l milk
2 eggs
50 g butter

Put the flour in a bowl and brand a small depression in the middle. Put the yeast contained by the middle with a bit of sugar and hte milk made lukewarm. Let the yeast rise for a few minutes.

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix the dough economically. Put the dough in a thaw out spot, cover it, and let it rise for just about half an hour.

Make "kid fist" sized ball out of the dough and put them on a floured board. Again cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Take a shape iron pot with a tight fitting lid and make a payment a finger's depth of water, 2 tablespoons of butter, and a bit of saline. Let it boil then tag on the dough balls and cover promptly. Reduce heat somewhat and tolerate cook until all the gooey is gone. You should be able to smell the crust starting to brown (takes going on for 20 minutes).

This is something that my grandmother always used to produce. It's quite firm to judge when exactly these are done lacking burning, but you don't want to open the lid too habitually either. Watch the pot and listen to the steam and you should be capable of hear the change surrounded by noise when most of the solution is gone.

Serve piping hot with sauce, or spread near butter, honey, or plum jam.

now into the oven (pre heated to 200 degree celsius, 410 F.)
until the dampfnudels are golden brown.

cook some milk gently, mix 2 spoons of sugar next to the vanillapudding powder and mix it all together next to the milk
Serve the dampfnudeln with the thaw out vanilla souce.
