Answers:    Hey K1235,
if I understand you right, you posess german money from in the past 1948 "Deutsche Reichsmark" wait a short time bit 2000 years or so possibly then it will enjoy a worth. In the moment the value is absolutly nothing.
If you have "Deutsche Mark", you can changeover it in Germany at respectively "Landesbank" or at "Deutsche Bundesbank" in Euro. Exchangerate 1.95583 DM = 1 Euro.
"Mark der DDR" Value = 0.

No you can not purloin it to a bank for exchange any more next to the use of the euro now.

Coin collectors may enjoy interest in them depending on what compassionate and age they are. That is your best bet.

I still have Deutsch Marks and even DDR Marks save as mommento's.
Depends on what it written on the coins/banknotes.
Reichsmark/Reichspfennig: collectors items only (not valid anymore since 1948)
Deutsche Mark/Pfennig: exchangable contained by offices of Deutsche Bundesbank/Landeszentralbank contained by every larg town of Germany into EUR (Euro).
I doubt that any US bank will conversion those to USD.
ya u can just stir to ay big bank or to the border treasury.. not ure what euro is worth anymore. du spreche duetch? I don't surmise it would be worth much especially since Germany's using euros now.
It isnt worth anything save for to a collector.. If any of it is good condition your may want to find out if collectors would be interested within it.
