Does Germany own?

Does Germany have a president or king and queen?
Do they enjoy states or just towns?



Answers:    yes we own a president, his name is Horst K"ohler but he is more similar to a statue, no real power similar to the US president.
Our country is run by a chnacelor, at present it's mrs. Angela Merkel.
we have no Quenn/King, later one resigned in 1919 and go to asylum in the Netherlands where on earth he died.
we have 16 federal states, 3 of them are cities, Bremen,Hamburg and Berlin. Bavaria is the biggest and Nordrhein-Westfalen is the one near the most population. The smallest is the Saarland (next to France) and Bremen is the smallest federal city.

No Kings of Queen, the last Kaiser abdicate in 1918 or 1917 one of the two years. From next on it was the Weimar Republic, consequently the Nazi's until 1945 and then it be split into parts with the Soviets controlling the east and the allies the west.

Now it is a solid country and they have a Chancellor and a President, but the Chancellor is much close to a Prime Minister is.

That is how I understand their political system is today.
