They know most Americans, French and Brits enjoy their shots if they have their passports, but even we enjoy to have our shot shots it is just ours are similar to theirs i believe so i own never been checked at the gate. Only by a Dr if I had to jump to one for a problem.

Germany is completely safe as far as infectional diseases are concerned, and our doctors are smart satisfactory to know that immunization protects YOU from a disease, but is completely worthless when you CARRY a disease. The single thing that make sense is to immunize their own ethnic group against all sorts of illnesses, and that's simply what they do.
Btw, I travelled to Asia for quite some time, and I have no immunization whatsoever. I react some kind of allergical once on a vaccine and the doc said he newly wouldn't dare to continue. I'm still alive though.
