Why do Americans just call round Southern Germany?
I'm just curious, why is it that Americans one and only seem to be interested to see Munich, the Neu Schwanstein castle and Heidelberg. Germany have many more cities and things to submission, why do you only know and prefer those places?

Probably to do next to the density of US Airforce bases within that area. Getting a direct flight to Frankfurt is easier than enunciate Hannover or Bremen. I think it adjectives depends on the person. I agree, like mad of people give the impression of being to want to go to Munich, etc. and so do I.
But I've get a whole roll of places I want to go to contained by Germany.

I think most Americans merely don't really know that much about the country, and Munich newly happens to be one of the few places they do know nearly.
Most the Americans living in the South. Another Bases are closed exempt few within South West. The main principle why is that there are so abundant american bases down here. So the locals are used to having americans here. Up north they aren't as friendly to "outsiders" and even aren't very nice to the southern Germans. But those areas are the key tourist attractions too just because of the history losing them. Berlin has abundantly, but you have more down south. Plus you will enjoy an easier time finding help if needed a moment ago because the use of English down there within southern Germany is so common.
Southern Germany seem more.Ah..German. I'm American, and I have spent 9 days within Germany, but I have never be to Munich, the Neu Schwanstein Castle, or Heidelberg. In fact, I probably one and only spent 1 hour in adjectives of Bavaria. And I have little interest to do more exploring here. I want to see the parts of Germany less visit by others first. I love central Germany to an extreme. I haven't be to northern Germany much yet, but the parts I own been to are lovely. To me, central Germany is charming, with it's rolling hill, and small cities, and towns placed in the valley. It's so historical to, and I love that. I also really enjoy going to parts of the former DDR. It seem so undiscovered, and so beautiful. In certainty, I would say that Thuringia is my favorite place within this world to be. A wonderful state!
I'm going back to internal area contained by a few weeks. I land contained by Cologne, then I'm traveling to Leipzig, and Dresden, and possibly hindmost to Berlin. I can't wait. Hopefully, I'll know how to live there soon after I graduate from college :)
Bavarias Sie ab Super kühlen oohh yaah! I'com frome Germany (east Germany) and I muse that Bavaria is the best German federale state and I love Munich, the "Oktoberfest" and also the over places there. There are heaps interesting thinks in that and the Bavarias are funny people. :o)
Because adjectives Americans are Neo-Nazis at heart and want to see the area of Germany that spawned Hitler's fanclub.
Plus, Northern Germans are assholes.
They want to drink correct beer hello, as with any traveler, the sights unseen are something to behold also.Only a interminable bank vindication could allow you to enjoy the splendor of Germany , the roads smaller number traveled ,that's where it's at.
One of the key reasons have already been given: the south is where on earth the US army bases are, masses people grew up audible range their parents talk in the order of what it as like at hand and later considered necessary to find out for themselves.
A second reason is that southern Germany is more traditional and more rural than other areas (by rule of thumb at most minuscule, of course at hand are rural aras elsewhere and dynamic big cities in the south, too). And these traditions is what German immigrant brought to the US generations ago - the oompah music, food that's pouring on sausages and stuff, and traditions strongly influenced by the church, that wore off surrounded by other parts of Germany as secularisation progressed. But in the south, you can still experience the thought of Germany established in the collective US consciousness by the immigrant.
