Are there any US Army bases in Berlin? If so, What are their names?

I want to go to Berlin for the Soccer World Cup games. I would like to stay in any of the US Army bases in Berlin.

I am pretty sure that there are no Army bases left in Berlin. There might still be US military personnel stationed but not in any base as far as I know. Not long after the re-unification of East and West Germany, the number of bases was drastically reduced. I guess Russia was less of a threat at that point.
If I may suggest smaller local 'hotels' also called 'Pension'. Just try to find them also in the Internet or on some travel sites before you book because some of them serve as rooms-by-the-hour facilities depending on the neighborhood.

Heidelberg is where there is a base that is left and is active. The US moved most of their personnel out in 1994. We still are there in Bavaria.The US still has a station in Garmisch as well for its serviceman to have R&R.

Why don't you stay in any of the hostels, hotels, B&Bs, camp sites. If you're in Germany you might as well get to know the country and its people a bit!
