How long does it clutch for cds to be shipped from Germany to America on regular luftpost?
I got some cds stale of ebay from DE and it's been two weeks. I know it can cart a really long time, but how many weeks is usual, based on what you own experienced?
Answers: I am a German living in the US and regularily obtain packages from my parents in Germany. The deferment is usually in the US since the USPS does not treat foreign messages as Priority. Packages inside Germany usually arrive within one business hours of daylight (the german post office statistics show that over 99% arrive inside 1 day), so the package should enjoy left Germany inside 1 -2 days depending on how long customs took. After that it really depends on how fast customs contained by the US takes. After that the pack will probably take roughly as long as parcel post or Media Mail in the US so another 1-2 weeks at least possible depending on your area.
My parents once convey me a package on the 6th of december and it arrived on the 28th of February, base on the custom stamps on the package it departed Germany on the 7th of December - of course this is the extreme.
If you ever carry anything from Germany again, ask the seller to append USPS tracking to the package which can be purchased at the German Post bureau It is my experience that packages that have the USPS tracking number on them bring back delivered faster (probably because you can check up on their progress, so they nick it more seriously).
I assume you will get your CDs in a week or so, most of the packages I receive arrive within going on for 2.5 to 4 weeks.
Letters sent by air communication (also bigger ones) usually take 6-10 days, depending on where on earth you live.
Packages are slower in transference, most likely 2-4 weeks, but surrounded by some cases up to 6-8 weeks (e.g. before christmas time allow 8 weeks).
Once I get a letter or roll (don't remember) with a long deferral because it was first going to the Philippines for an unknown purpose (the address was correct). But finally it arrived undamagingly and undamaged.
It will be I guess 10-12 business day. A few days.
The problem sometimes is the US customs and homeland surety,as they suspect Osama's tricks in every little parcel...;0)
Normally, it take between two and three weeks, if you have more than one disc and a package. It take even longer if the package is held up surrounded by customs, if the sender labelled the CDs as "trade goods" and not as payment or because you went over the amount of "free goods" hamper . (In that case you might own to pay introduction taxes, too.)
If you have simply one CD sent, it usually simply takes around a week and a partially, but I also had it cart up to three weeks.
If they sent them by air, they should be here by immediately. But customs sometimes holds stuff so they may be sitting there. You'll eventually receive them though, because it has happen to me several times before. About 7 to 10 days. That is if they are currently within stock & don't have a huge backlog of directives.
depends on how big the box is. but it shouldn't take longer than 3 weeks. my people lives in germany and when they dispatch me medium packages, it take about a week to be here. but it might alteration if you send it priority or something close to that
