Where to spend Christmas within Germany?
So I'm trying to decide which city or town contained by Germany I should celebrate X-Mas i. My inherited is also going to be there. We would approaching to do some sightseeing and visit a duo of museums and naturally X-mas market. Maybe someone can help me and supply a nice piece of advice where on earth we can have the most fun. Thanks contained by advance. =)
Answers: Almost every city have a Weihnachtsmark (christmas market). Famous are the ones in Cologne, Nuremberg, the Augsburger "Christkindlemarkt", the ones contained by Münster and Lübeck, and of course the Munich "Christkindlemarkt".

Most of the cities also have greatly of history to offer and are worth a trip. :)
Perhaps you and your ethnic group try to find out what kind of sightseeing you want to do first, what historical and architectural things you want to see. Germany differs greatly from state to state (we call them "Bundesland"). People and traditions are different, you hold places where you can find like mad of old castle (like the Rhine Valley) or a perfectly renovated middle-age built city center (Hameln, Bremen and other cities), the bigger cities donate everything from theatre and shopping to concerts and nightlife entertainment.

Go to Heidelberg! It is one of the most beautiful cities contained by Germany, they have the largest Christmas souk, and it is just 1 hour away from Frankfurt Intl. airport.
They hold one of the oldest universities contained by Europe. In Heidelberg learned German Mark Twain, and wrote the outstanding article "The awful German language" (really funny).
Near there you can pop in Strasbourg (France), Mainz, Baden Baden, the black forest with the elegant castle Hohenzollern, the Speyer cathedral.

Germany is greatly nice and Christmas time is everywhere Christmas markets. The best and the important one is in Nuremberg. Most fun you can hold Berlin, Frankfurt/M., Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Dresden, Leipzig. Look at the web for more within formations and get some book around Germany in the Library or contained by the Bookstore. Go to Dresden, they have the oldest christmas open market in Germany and there's seriously of museums, you can go sightseeing. Everything is really close, approaching Berlin, Saxon Switzerland, the mountains. Everyone (american) I showed around here loved it.
eagle's nest... get surrounded by touch wid my boy hitler Garmish would be nice but it is lacking surrounded by the museums aspect, asside from the castles, but I am sure they hold plenty of things to do during this seasons.
I would recommend the city of Bamberg, museums, Xmas bazaar, theater, and concert hall. The city is not to big to get hold of around in and not to small not to hold some luxuries.
It is centrally located about a 1/2 train ride from nuernberg and it's Xmas marketplace. It is a nice place to stroll around the old constituent of town with adjectives the gasthauses, shops and resturaunts.

I'd recommend Nuremberg! They enjoy the I'd say most legendary christmas market plus there's lots of possibilities as within museums and sightseing.

Nuremberg is a remarkably pretty city.
I have also hear that Heidelberg is supposed to be very nice too.
when my brother come over from the states we went to garmisch!! theres this really nice castle neuschwanstein!! its cool !! my brother loved it so did his kids and the live within texas so they never saw snow befor!
also garmisch is around the alps so youll have attractive sightseeing and they have these little towns it cool!!
within is also a new hotel for americans not simply but most americans go at hand!!
