Where is a accurate place to experience culture or somewhere attractive within Weimar, Germany?
I am looking for something to do during a weekend and as I have already found some darkness life, I am looking for something to do during the year.
Answers: Weimar is a beautiful city and have great historical sights. There are also several World Heritage sites in Weimar.
The middle business area of Weimar have lots of interesting shops and restaurants. I have other enjoyed the time I spent within.
Also be sure to visit the Bauhaus Museum...this is an crucial architectural style centered on Weimar, and will be very interesting if you are a follower of architecture.
Buchenwald was a concentration military camp from the Nazi times that is hard by to the city. It is definitely an celebrated site to visit. It is relatively emotional, but a must-see when visit Weimar.
Further afield is the city of Erfurt, about 20-30 minutes away. Erfurt have great medieval center, and the cathedral is spectacular.

Well, you can visit the Bauhaus-Museum, a museum going on for the architectonical and artistic style of Bauhaus - very intersting
There's also the Goethe-Wohnhaus, the living house of Goethe, I don`t know the most famous German poet - he lived within Weimar for many years, he have a very intersting go, and to me it was severely well done

The Weimar republic be nothing to be proud of. Not sure whether you are interested within history, but you could also visit the former concentration military camp in neighbouring Buchenwald. I went nearby when I was surrounded by high institution and it is very interesting, fear-provoking and awful but also important to know around.
