The leader of Hamburg is a gay Jew - another gay be running in the hottest election against him. In West Germany gay life is pretty undemanding going but in eastern Germany within is a growing amount of violence against gays. This is true for instance for Berlin and Rostock where on earth there enjoy been several hate crimes against gays contained by the past. The European Union is sponsoring a project in that to fight antagonism against gays.
Germany is an advanced country with a terribly European view on homosexuality. They own legal state run brothels.

Showing your sexual situation openly might be considered provocative and insulting by some culture; but as long as you don't do that, nobody will care. There are two taboo that will not be broken:

(a)Shlomo, you should mention that this law be a compromise between Red-Green and the Blacks who then held the majority contained by the "Bundesrat" and wouldn't have permit the law overhaul if Red-Green wouldn't draw back as to something close to a "registered partnership". The "protection of marriage and family" is sector of the German constitution, so there would hold had to be an amendment to it, which singular is possible with a two-third majority surrounded by parliament. Which Red-Green didn't have.
There are no problems for homosexuals (gays or lesbians alike) contained by Germany. Like in the US as resourcefully, there are other people who don't want to adopt it, but the majority of Germans are very free-thinking.

to 99% the homos not discriminate within germany. the governeur of Berlin is a homo and the leader of the Party FDP too.No one can see that they`re homo.I regard as it's like within other countries.The people can flowing to see who is homo but not ever who is lesbian.I like Mr.Westerwelle (the boss of the FDP).He do what he say,and speak what the most germans want.There's to different parts. one is the sexuality and the other is his work for the group and so on. I do know from a gf that there are 14 different wordsin german for the different types of homosexuals. I found that german preciseness interesting. in germany in that is a large minority of muslims. they could spawn you a problem.
No. There is no overt discrimination, and I know of at most minuscule 5 homosexuals/lesbians. They all enjoy nice jobs.approaching in the USA..and everyone seem to know of their sexual orientation.
Of course, the Neo-Nazis are against homosexuals/lesbians, and it can be dicey for them if they are found out. but as long as they act 'normally' contained by public.they can mix in and move about through life next to no problems because of their skin color, (majority white here).
