Going to Ulm alone for the first time?
I am going to Ulm in two months alone. I enjoy been to Munich and surrounding towns/cities, but never Ulm. To top it sour I am going alone. Just wondering if anyone has any tips. I am going to study and I inevitability to find my own way from any the Stuttgart, Munich, or Frankfurt airport to the Ulm station. I do have a honest background surrounded by the language (I am a German major). Any tips would be greatly appericated!
Answers: Hey, I'm studying contained by Passau, it's in Bavaria on the border beside Austria, I know a guy who's studying medicine surrounded by Ulm but we're not that close.
I think but I still own to check that you can use the 'Bayern Ticket'. That is you land contained by Munich and buy this ticket at the airport it's good for adjectives forms of public transit in Bavaria for a light of day, if I can take that ticket to stir to Salzburg then I'm sure you can clutch it to go to Ulm.
Or else, fly to Stuttgart and buy a Baden-Wuttemberg Ticket but it's more expensive to estate in Stuttgart after in Munich I regard.
Ther German transport system is excellent, really you shouldn't have any problems especially since du kannst Deutsch schon.

As far as I know the chief train line from Munich to Stuttgart pass through Ulm, so there shouldn't be a problem to capture there. The bigger problem is to bring back from Munich airport to Munich main station; from Stuttgart Airport to Stuttgart crucial station should be easier, but I'm not sure. Frankfurt airport has its own big train station, but Frankfurt is the futher away from Ulm.
You probably know that IC trains are the cheaper (but slower) opportunity as compared to ICE trains?
Don't know Ulm myself; I know it's right on the state border, so if you want to go shopping, clear sure to know which state has what public holidays; and gratitude to recent legal poppycock, you might find different laws concerning smoking surrounded by restaurants and bars within Bavaria and Württemberg; as well as adjectives opening hours of shops.
