Day spa within or around Mannheim, Germany?
I am looking for a day spa within or around Mannheim, Germany. Can anyone help me out? It would be great if they enjoy a website also. Thanks for the help.
Answers: The following are purely hear-say tips - personally I'd fairly eat chalice than visit a sunshine spa... :-)
I know that the hotel Europ"aischer Hof in Heidelberg offer Day Spa service to people regardless whether they are staying at the hotel or not. It is fairly well specified in the nouns.
The Maritim Hotel in Mannheim in opposition has single minor Spa facilties, and I think you hold to book a room for the weekend in charge to be able to use them.
Apart from that, you could check the websites of adjectives regional spa towns (Bad Langenbrücken, Bad Mingolsheim, Bad Sch"onborn, Bad Rappenau, Bad Wimpfen) and see if they also offer sunshine spa services.
I guess you see the pattern here - deeply look at the map, and whatever town you see origin with "Bad", there's a spa (or used to be one).
Of course, the afternoon spa at the Europ"aischer Hof would have the lead that you'll share it with other sunshine spa enthusiasts only - while the "real" spas extend the usual mix of geriatric, sick & diseased people :-)

I love the German spas - I lived in Germany and go to several - very relaxing and pleasant - and refreshingly not uptight as they would be surrounded by the US.
I looked online and found your best bet - it at least looks really cool.
It is run by the city of Mannheim - the Herschelbad.
It have an Art Noveau swimming pool, roman/irish steam bath, sauna, a heat up air room, reheat bath, cold hip bath and table shower - and state licensed massage therapist.
From October to the end of April, you can use the pool and sauna nouns together - nude - from 10 am to 5 pm. At other times, the sauna area is separate from the pool - and you own to wear a bathing suit to swim.
It looks pretty cool.
