Travel to Munich, Germany?

What is the best time of year to visit this city? I would close to the weather to be mild enough but not hot. Also, I should avoid Ocktober fest as this time of year would be means of access too expensive and crowded. Please advise.

Answers:    If you can shift anytime, avoid summer for anyplace in Europe. Especially August because adjectives Europeans go on break in August. September would be great and depart the day after Oktoberfest starts. The display is beautiful and one there for the orifice of the beer tents is fun. One night of seeing the drunks stumble around the city and the fest is plenty.
I like May and untimely June before it get too hot. I suggest staying outside of Munich itself - accomodations can be expensive in the city. Usually Spring time is fairly nice. The weather is nice not too hot not too cold. Around May or June. However the weather pattern slightly different this year. It’s a bit colder. So I would suggest to check out weather forecast first around untimely April just see the weather outline.
Second option will be autumn, possibly end of October (to avoid October Fest crowd).
Weather is usually not too cold and not too hot. Maybe a bit drizzly.
