Answers: I love the country. And I am very impressed beside how things have gone since reunification (anschluss?)! This country have been, and continues to be, the monetary and financial hub around which the hub of Europe revolves.
As an American, I see Germany as the single most important country to continue good relations next to.
Na da bin ich ja mal gespannt was du da für Antworten bekommst!;-) Jared ... which country does not hold a bleak history? I persobally love Hamburg Germany ... one of the oldest city states in the world.
I hold no idea what sort of answer you want, but here is mine: Based on "loved ones history" sotries i've been told, and myself..
My grandfather be assigned in Germany (and lots other places) in World War II. He looked-for to go vertebrae before he died, but disappointingly, was not lucky satisfactory too. :-( I want to go to Germany surrounded by honor of him, and since i've always needed to go.Maybe formerly i die i'll get another indiscriminate to, and i won't blow it?!?! I wish i know more about Germany. I assume it's a great place from what i've heard from my lecturer (she went at hand and if i remember correctly was in reality a teacher too!!) And the stories my mother tell me that her dad told her. I also wish I know where my grandfather's relatives be from before they come here. Along with my grandmothers...but that'd be process to far back to trace...so i'm guessing that'd be impossible.
and i'm also still nutty at myself for never finishing German as my "second" language course contained by High School. :-(

I'm an American who have lived here since 1986 and am married to a German and like almost anyplace, it have its plusses and minuses. The people are not intensely overly friendly but are generally civil and it is a pretty out of danger place. It is relatively densely populated but the zoning is good and in that are plenty of green spaces. I find most prices reasonable but guess the school system sucks. So it's a mixed case. The weather is winter is gray but in summer it stays insubstantial until 10 p.m. And so on...Do you have a specific put somebody through the mill? I'm curious about Germany and I want to explore the country.
Actually i would a bit travel to Deutschland rather than the USA or UK I hold been amazed that a country that have such a dark history in the last century can be so dazzling and amazing. Germany ROCKS>

If you are talking more or less the reunification that happened contained by Germany in 1990, afterwards I say:
Germany sucks since ever! The border to DDR is okay, but to clear it to the rest of Europe and make poor european countries a quantity of the EU, is horrible.
Germany is a beautiful country, and YES, I miss the daylight until 10 PM contained by the summer, here in the US, it is already cloudy at 8 PM.
Deutchland...Ich liebe es! Its a pretty awesome country, most of my family lives in that.
