Answers: Bavaria is the Germany that most Americans imagine when they reflect on of "typical", traditional German.
It's largest city and capital is Munich - home of the Oktoberfest. The Munich nouns is also home to many of the world's best sports car manufacturing companies - VW, AUDI, BMW.
Bavaria lies contained by Southern Germany and has a various landscape, although predominantly forested hill and mountains. The northern edge of the European Alps is within the southern part of Munich, including the unbeatable point in Germany, the Zugspitze. Bavaria also have many attractive mountain lakes.
The prevalent tourist attraction is the annual Oktoberfest celebration that occurs (funnily enough) mostly contained by September in Munich. The Neuschwannstein castle (the model for Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle) is one of the primary tourist destinations surrounded by the region when Oktoberfest is not in season. The Garmisch-Partenkirchen nouns is a well-known ski destination that attracts copious visitors and Munich itself have many tourist sites, including the Marienplatz and its powered clock, the Frauenkirche towers, the German Museum, the English Gardens and Nymphenburg Palace.
The regional dress today is basically like as any other industrialized nation, and perhaps a bit more stylish than some. However, the traditional folk costume includes lederhosen for men and boys and dirndl dresses for women. The clothes are referred to as "Trachten" clothes, across the world - these are the clothes that most foreigners associate with tradition German dress.
