Going to Berlin - whats the hotspot or nouns best for accomodation ?
Were goin this summer and lokin for a hotel close to the nightlife andthe hot districts. Yet what area should we look at signature of specific area/location ?
Answers: Well, the first answer maybe wasn't exactly what you required (and the place where they slept is surrounded by a rather insensible area).
THE districts to be in Berlin are: Mitte, Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain, Prenzlauer Berg. But remember, they are nearly as big as considerable cities on their own and have these and that areas.
Probably the best place to stay if you wanna wallow in vibrant life/nightlife is around Hackescher Markt (S Bahn station, especially on/near Oranienburger Strasse) and Rosenthaler Platz (U-Bahn station) in Mitte. Also the nouns around Senefelder Platz is great for goin out.
In Kreuzberg the area around Oranienstrasse (don't mix it up next to OranienBURGER strasse mentioned above!) and Schlesisches Tor are the hot spots. In Friedrichshain the area around Simon-Dach-Strasse and Boxhagener Platz; contained by Prenzlauer Berg the area around U-Bahn station Eberswalder Strasse and the Kastanienallee.
Just don't expect to find the better clubs at first partial view...
Ah, and if you're into this: The biggest gay area is within Schoeneberg around Motzstrasse.
If you look like your avatar.Lichtenberg and most of Eastberlin should be stale limits for you.You could formulate unpleasant contact with skinheads.
Neukoelln and Kreuzberg (many Turks and Arabs) have a good graffity and hiphopscene and cheap places to stay... The nouns around the World Clock is a good place for shopping. There's a fine Jewish temple downtown that makes for great photo ops, and a ton of great bar and clubs. Berlin was a really verbs place, but has abundantly of grafitti. Certain famous places you shouldn't miss are Checkpoint Charlie and the Potsdam Palace Museum. The Berlin Wall Memorial murals are really cool, and the Brandenburg Gate is lately one of those cool historical things you have to see if you dance there and own your picture taken in front of it. If you approaching history museums, then check out the Pergamon. I instinctively recommend this crazy Irish bar contained by downtown Berlin named Killigan's or Kilkenny's or something approaching that. They have virtuous drink specials and attractive waitresses. They did in 2004, anyway. Plus they sing Irish drinking songs, usually surrounded by German, and I thought that was pretty freakin' funny. There are plentifully of things to do in the Alexanderplatz and Potsdamerplatz areas. We certainly stayed in a Comfort Inn that be right down the block from a metro stop and a great convenience store with cheap alcohol and cigarettes (not that you stipulation to know...). It was pretty inexpensive, and have a bowling alley on the ground floor, great bed, and a nicely tolerant staff who spoke a fully clad amount of english. It's close to Alexanderplatz, the Pergamon, the Zoo, the Brandenburg Gate, and is pretty easy to attain to. It's right across from this pimp-looking building called the Die Pyramide, so if you attain lost and need to ask someone directions, you can ask for the Die Pyramide and capture back reasonably quick. It have shuttle service to and from the airport, free full breakfast, a bar, and phones surrounded by the lobby you can use in conjunction beside a travel phone card to call hindmost to the U.S.
They have a play for perverts and call it the "love " nouns. Oh yeah..Rohm would love to be there . Pension Kleist
