The Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is moderately far away from Frankfurt/Main.

Type "Hahn", chose "Hahn, Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis, RP" and you come up near the Airbase Hahn. Then procure the route to "Frankfurt-Main". It's exactly 126 km!
There is no large town around, so you might as all right go direction west.
I would transport a shuttle bus to Mainz and set up base military camp there. Not have to check in and out hotels save you time for more sightseeing and fun.
One day I'd pilfer a Rhine River Cruise passing celebrated Loreley Rock down to Cologne (cathedral) - take the train put money on. http://www.koeln-duesseldorfer.de/englis...
One day I'd stir to Heidelberg to see the Old Bridge and the marvelous castle - on your way you could stop at Worms to see the town and cathedral.
One hours of daylight I'd spend in Mainz and within reach Frankfurt and / or Wiesbaden.
Forget about Munich, Berlin, and Auschwitz: although worth seeing adjectives are too far away!
For some information (also pictures and links) on the cities go to http://en.wikipedia.org and type within their names
You can craft some alternative:
You can go from Frankfurt to Munich

from munich to Heidelberg - tre truly romantic and striking city in Germany.

and from Heidelberg to The Black Forest (or Schwarzwald) within southwest Germany is famed for its majestic scenery, tempting Black Forest Cake, and cuckoo clocks

u can visit stuttgart, or munich, conceivably berlin. but i guess i would just produce a trip to the countryside, and have a few german beers and some icecream. relax, 3 days aint long, and u better spend them not that full of plans and stuff. Try to stop by Cologne and Bonn.
Frankfurt is good for shopping I guess.
Berlin is a must.
Frankfurt/Hahn is an old nouns base modified to be a regional airport. It's relatively far from the actual Frankfurt am Main. Nevertheless, if you have individual three days, I would head to Cologne for hours of daylight one, then run the high speed ICE train to Frankfurt for some shopping, after take one and the same ICE service to Munich. That's option one. Option two would be to help yourself to the train to Berlin. You'll need multiple days to explore that city. Definitely don't do the feeble fashioned, stereotypical fairy myth castle BS. You'll be with a bunch of frail folks and you'll be bored. They're just ruins anyway, and big time tourist traps. The principal cities have adjectives the action and you'll receive a better feel for modern Germany. Callie: Auschwitz is contained by Poland, that's nowhere near Frankfurt!
Aushwitz! i really want to walk there As you won't be anywhere close to Frankfurt stick to Cochem,Bacharach and Boppard and the Loreley.Take a sail on the Rhine
Eileen, within the region surrounding Frankfurt I think you should call on the Rhineland towns and villages. You should definitely see the towns of Weisbaden and Mainz. A short trip on a Rhine River ferry would be impressive especially in the Rheingau.
