Any tips for moving overseas surrounded by the military?

Answers: Use Govt housing if you can, use govt furniture. Its not doomed to failure and yours won't get tore up within transit (they really don't reimburse worth a crap). Learn the money. Its not monopoly money its real money. Calculate adjectives the things you buy on the German economy and and ask if you would discharge that much in dollars for it. Money conversion can be tricky. So can internet access, cell phones, long distance call, auto insurance, etc etc etc. Good luck.
