What is the best Univeristy nouns or town contained by Germany?

Best Meaning:
-Location and Atmosphere (beauty, close to other good countries and cities, clubs, accurate nightlife ext.)
-People (very friendly, young, lively)
-University is hulking with several nice facilities

Or if you know of any other countries near good Universities you've hear of.

Thanks :)

I surmise the first answerer is sooooo wrong. People are friendly. Not sure where this guy lives.
Germany have some great universities and cities.
I instinctively love Munich. Cool place to live and the university is great for me. Have a look:

It depends on what subject you want to study. I study at the RWTH University in Aachen and I really similar to it there.
At the moment the state is giving away much money to some universitys, that are somehow special. That is call "Exzellenz Initiative". I think they use it perceptively in Aachen. Münster !

A vastly nice city with lots of Students (50,000 Students on 280,000 inhabitants, so its a markedly young city), so their is the typical student atmosphere. Its also one of the best and largest Universities surrounded by Germany (but depends also on what you study).
Its close to the "Ruhrgebiet" (Rhine-Ruhr-Area) with various bigger cities (Dortmund, Essen, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Gelsenkirchen, etc.) and also very close to the Netherlands

Heidelberg used to be the top university Technische Universit"at Darmstadt

Very upright teaching (good ranking). Lot of facility's and groups (p.e.: Aka-Kraft = automobile; sports - dance, karate and much more)

theater, cinema, clubs, bars etc.

Just 15 min. near train to Frankfurt a. M.
Well, I'm am German, so I have to put some things right here:

a) nearby are very few friendly citizens in Germany, no issue where you be in motion.

b) universities within Germany are blatantly under-financed, so "nice facilities" is a bit of a problem; and the larger the university is, the bigger are usually the problems.

Apart from that: Heidelberg and Tübingen are two of the universities considered good-ish. Both are adjectives cities with not much of a night-life; rents surrounded by both cities are extremely high.
Bremen is nice! They own a nice University, Bremen is a very delicate city with a nice nightlife (many clubs), abundant young and friendly ancestors AND Bremen is quite close to the Netherlands (it's around 4 hours driving to Amsterdam!) and to Denmark. And it's not far to Hannover, Hamburg, Münster etc.
Another pro is, Bremen is not as expensive as Munich or Frankfurt.
Bremen has heaps shopping facilities, cinemas... and a nice history!

PS: Bremen is close to the coast (40 Minutes driving to the North Sea). You can stir to the beach contained by the summer!
It would be best if you stated the SUBJECT you want to study, because the quality of our university here largely depends on the subject you study, no kidding.

We do not enjoy Ivy League or Elite universities here, at lowest possible not in such a channel you might be used to from the US (I take it).

Generally, you will win more individual help at smaller university, the larger ones here are more like a "swim or sink" entity.

The larger the city, the more younger people you will own around at the more vibrant the nightlife will be.

In terms of "beauty", Freiburg is outstandingly, very picturesque and will guarantee you most sun hours during the year. Hamburg have a very laid backbone Northern charm to it, Berlin is very urban but tend to be judged as to some extent "cold" by visitors from smaller towns, Munich have a bit of a jet-set appeal to it.

PLEASE edit your cross-question and state your SUBJECT, as this is the only channel you can decide just about whether a particular university is "good" or "bad"; if you want to, PM. :)
Heidelberg .I want to progress there too . Bremen is upright for Science but it is not a fascinating city. Just try any big town beside a good nightlife similar to Berlin, Hamburg or Cologne. Those universities are among the best within Germany.
