Answers:    Well, Frankfurt have a couple of really great museums, the Senckenberg Museum, for example, which is all going on for fossils and dinosaur bones and stuff; the city also has a big zoo.

The behind the times city centre have some buildings of historical importance. It also have scores of drug addict.

There's an English language book store somewhere fundamental the stock exchange - and somewhere there's a newsagent's that's selling English language magazine.

shopping:
I'm a guy, so I don't know anything about clothing. But I do know that near are some great stores for interior design in the city mainstay - for decorating rooms, and buying gifts etc.
one is call "Strauss Innovation" - it sells mostly pretty looking stuff of the more British-Victorian style (like a cheap version of Laura Ashley or Martha Stewart)
the others are "Depot", "Butlers", and "CriCri".

outside the substance - on the Hanauer Landstrasse - there are two really great furniture/interior design stores - one is call "Yellow M"obel", and the other "Ikarus" - the latter is very expensive, but so much fun to stroll through and look at stuff. Incidently, one of the few German Staples stores is on that same street - but they sell German stuff, obviously, not American.

Don't buy any DVDs or VHS tapes - you know they won't work within the US.
But you could buy music CDs - if you think you will find something cheaper over here. The places beside the best prices in Germany are Media Markt, Saturn, and Müller Drogerie [the latter sell CDs only within some of its stores, not in all]. Saturn have a store right in the city spotlight.

I hope you have nice holiday within my country.
What part of Germany? That make all the difference.

You'll own to do the touristy castle tour with King Ludwig's Castles, Octoberfest surrounded by Munich, Berlin, the wall, They're rebuilding the Kaiser's palace in Berlin, der Lindenstrasse surrounded by Berlin, the Brandenburg Gate, southern Germany and Lake Constance or die Boedensee where the Zeppelin museum is. You can fly within the modern Zeppelins around the lake or lift a boat to Austria or Switzerland from there, I believe.
I LOVE germany. within particular, the bavarian alps. it is positively beautiful. I would step to Heidelberg, Munich and especially visit the Neuschwanstein Castle. i meditate it is in Fussen. it be built by king ludwig 2? and was the inspiration for the castle contained by the magic monarchy. i would go to smaller towns and call on castles and cathedrals. particularly beautiful.
