Answers:    Your best bet is probably by Eurorail.

Here's a relation for travelling through 3-5 countries. In your case, you are a "1st Class Saver" because you are 2 or more.
Prices start at EUR270.

In some cases, the bus may be cheaper (yet distinctly less comfortable) than the train.

Eurolines go from Ulm to Vienna, for example, but the journey take the whole dark. (http://www.touring.de/index.php?id=2&L=1 )
They have also bus-lines to Italy and to France running through Ulm; but those journey can get unbelievably long - simply something for the tough and young.

Their website is a nightmare when you are looking for information, but they do hold a sales agent contained by Ulm who might be able to quote you some prices:
Friedrich Ebert Strasse 7/1 (ZOB)
Tel.: 0731 3786510, Fax: 0731 65196
Hi you should take a weekend ticket. It s callen wochenend ticket. Its around 25 euro should be like 33-35 dollar and it includes up to five individuals. But everybody at the trainstation usually speaks good english so they can probably oblige you better.
