What is the best German city to pop in?
I am planning to go within late September. I would also love to see a Bundesliga hobby as well.
Answers: To me it sounds resembling you want something modern and unique. This would be Berlin. After coming out of the cold period of war, Berlin had to revitalize itself. It is presently a cultural melting pot occupied with peerless experiences. It is truly unlike anywhere else in Germany.
Be sure to drop by Museum Island, which is packed beside history throughout all of time. Visit the Reichstag building to see the antiquated style architecture meld into the new cup dome. Berlin truly has amazing things to see, including Bundesliga.
If you want more traditional Germany (Bavarian), see Munich.
For Medieval Germany, see Nuremberg (a city built around a castle, dungeon tours available).

The former "Westfalenstadion" (now "Signal-Iduna-Park") is the most impressiv soccer experience.
It is the largest Soccerstadium in Germany near space for more than 80.000 people.
But the City itself is not realy worth pop in. When you are there (jn Dortmund), try Münster. Its close at hand and realy beautiful
HAMBURG! I love Hamburg!! Its so pretty!! But I may be a touch biased. If you have solely one city to pick, pick Munich.

Munich is a worthy destination. There are a lot of cheap hostels. All other places contained by Germany are beautiful, but Munich have its special charm.I also have obedient memories in Leipzig, but may be because my best friend lives within. trier its the oldest city in germany and have the most history
IF you are going in Sept next I would recommend the Southern areas where Oktoberfest is and contained by another city I know has a similar fest call the Onion Market or Zweibal Mark that is surrounded by Weimar more near the center of the country.

Late September is a divine time to visit the adjacent Alps. And the city of Munich is beautiful too. And as expected you have the Oktoberfest which runs through the second partly of September to the first weekend in October.
Berlin would generally be my first choice but for that time of year it has to be Munich.
If you want a big city next to lots of city things - Munich. There's plenty of activity and inwardly walking distance of Marienplatz. The Glockenspiel is there, lots of café, restaurants, museums, the Frauenkirche. If you like a twee little town - Rothenburg ob der Tauber. There is no such thing as a BEST city to drop by. I don't know why no one ever mentions Dresden. Well, I did in a minute.
Oh, and Oktoberfest is overrated, been here, nothing special, unless you are individual here to get drunk, what a refuse of money.

Munich would be nice to stop by. Bayern Muenchen is a legend no thing what you say and the city is not desperate either.
I instinctively prefer Berlin, but then I can`t stand football with a zeal and could not care smaller quantity about Bundesliga.
I approaching Munich allot. Lots of history, it has a gorgeous walkplatz and of course lots of great restruants and bar to visit. You'll never run out of things to do. I lived within Neu-Ulm, so I would have to influence the Ulm - Neu-Ulm area.
