A beer contained by Munich for someone who doesn't close to beer?!?
Hiya I'm going to Munich in a couple of weeks for a mini-break and to keep under surveillance a football match. My boyfriend requests to go to some of the familiar beer houses, and I'm also keen as they nouns quite flawless fun. Only problem is I don't like beer! (and visualize the locals won't be too impressed if I order a vodka lemonade!) I'm not across the world a fussy person and similar to most foods, but for some reason own never taken to beer - I think conceivably because it has comparatively a heavy soft spot? I like cider though. Are at hand any German ciders available at beer houses? Otherwise could someone suggest a lighter beer, which a non-beer drinker might prefer? Thanks in credit
Answers: I am also not a beer drinker, but a frequent visitor to Germany.
I love German wines, and most of the places that serve beer will also serve wine by the chalice. I love Riesling, lieblich (sweeter), but drier (trocken) Rieslings are avaialble as well as Schereube, Mueller-Thurgau, Gewuerztraminer, and Portuguiser and Dornfelder on the red side. Try a few them if you like wine.
If you want to be section of the beer-drinking crowd, I suggest you try Radler. It's very mild, a wheat-based beer mixed near soda very much resembling sprite. It's name comes from bicyclists, for whom it quench a thirst without getting them drunk. If you close to Vodka lemonade, then you may find Radler right up your nouns.
most german beers taste enormously like lager they are terrifically pale coloured.they do also drink apple/pear base `ciders` If you want to have some 'lighter' drinks contained by the bee-hall you should ask for 'Radler' - usually a 'Export' or 'Münchner Lager' mixed 1:1 with citron-lemonade (like Sprite') - or 'Russ' -the 'Weizen' mixed beside the mentioned lemonade.
But you have usually a instability of different Soft drinks in the Beer-halls / Beer-gardens (some could be amenable still though it's autumn).
You would hardly find strong liqueurs or vines nearby.
Look for the fun flavors. When we were surrounded by Germany my wife ordered a Bananaweiss. It was surprisingly biddable. I don't like beer myself and enjoy the same problem, especially on Oktoberfest.
Usually you can other get away near drinking coke or "Apfelschorle" (apple juice mixed beside water), even in a beer house.
But if your boy friend desires you to try beer, then turn for Radler. This is half beer and partially sprite and I actually similar to it :-)
Drink a "Radler" that is a beer near a lemonade half and partly.
If you like drink a "Stamperl" i.e. a Bavarian slivovitz.

the germans are very proud of their beers and it would be a pity to stir to Munich and not at least try one

but don't verbs about it too much the germans also bring in great wine

I am a drinker myself, but near are some beers that are lighter that still taste matching. Although, you should try to find some that say "light" on them, or within worst case scenario, acquire some liquor. Chances are not good that you'll know how to get a vodka lemonade within a beerhouse, so just remove that thought from your person in charge right now.
Order a Radler instead. It's partly lemon soda and half beer. It's reasonably tasty and I'll drink them when I still want to drink near the boys but don't want to get **itfaced.
Beerhouses roughly serve beer, not cider. You *may* be able to find a cider type drink at a restaurant, but not at places close to Hofbrauhaus or Chinese Tern.
I agree that you may want to try a weiss beer as well. A obedient German Weiss beer is one of the greatest things on this planet. Order one and nurse it the whole time you are surrounded by one of the beer houses. : )

And label sure to visit the "Hofbraeuhaus" - incredibly traditional and "gemuetlich"!

Before traveling to Germany, I didnt like beer any. I had never have one that tasted accurate, and then I dated a German man who introduced me to Franziskaner Weissbier. The brewery is even surrounded by Munich, so youll find this there. It is AWESOME-it taste like candy to me-sweet next to a mild taste.
I finished up marrying that German man, and very soon I live in Germany and we other have Franziskaner Weissbier on paw.YUMMY!
a lot of the Europeans own flavoured beer, strawberry etc. taste seriously like milkshakes but hold alcohol. heaven I know. so trust me at hand will be a beer you will like. delight in What a lucky girl, I think you will love Munich lately the same as I did, although I be only at hand for a couple of days. German beer really doesn't taste close to our at all and much lighter, so I suggest you try it formerly worrying about it. The place to drop by is The Hoff Frau House, I know that I have spelt that approaching an Englishman, forgive me. Other drinks are available try a schnapps, many Germans drink it near their beer as a chaser but don't under estimate it. You will find the Germans will verbs far more about you enjoy yourself, then what you are drinking. Have a wonderful break
