Any Romantic getaway spots surrounded by South Germany?
My husband has one weekend not here before he leaves country for 6months. New to nouns, so I need romantic weekend Ideas. Under 500 euros.
Answers: I would walk to Lindau, on the Lake Konstance and stay in Bayern Hof-it's right on the hose. You could get to Bregenz via a transport, and go up to the fenda (I don't know how to spell it). There is also Island Mainau-tons of goreous flowers. You can thieve a ferry nearby from the city of Konstance.
Tschüs!

Hi,
Depending upon where on earth you want to go surrounded by southern Germany but if you are military there is a resort within Garmisch which has tours available. Romantic horse drawn horse-drawn carriage rides, beautiful restaurants contained by the mountains and numerous bed and breakfast rooms in the sourrounding nouns.
Check with your MWR or CAC, they own alot of travel information.
Rothenburg is a beautiful city to look in as well. I thought it be very romantic in that. Horse drawn buggies and beautiful topography, not to mention Kathy Wolfhart's Christmas store.
Sonthofen was another favorite of mine.
Well someone already said Lindau. Seriously you don't catch much more romantic then that. It is this reliable Renaissance town on Lake Constance (Bodensee). That whole are is nice. You can turn to Ravensburg which is an old walled city, Wiengarten which have a pretty Basilica, Friedrichshafen which is the bigger town but has a nice boardwalk on the sea, Meersburg which is just west of Friedrichshafen and also on the mere, it is perfect medieval town and also a trim spot to actually stay. Across the lagoon is Konstance, a beautiful antiquated University town with the where on earth the Council of Konstance took place, Romanshorn, Switzerland, and Bergenz, Austria are close too.
It is a wonderful and some what cheaper part of Germany.
