Make sure to call ahead if they hold restricted access. They sometimes have that. Please document also that some of the outlets are outside of Berlin.
Here's a link to a site that give you directions to various outlets, malls, and department stores within Berlin. It'll give you some insight as to what is trendy, and designer brands that you may be looking for. The majority of the stores are located surrounded by the towne center, so you shouldn't have to turn very far out of your channel coming from any direction. Have a great trip!
