As a German, what is your judgment around Hitler? Are you really ashamed or proud of him?
Answers: This a sensitive question for any German.
Almost 70 years latter we are all slightly clear that, that past have been condemned surrounded by the worlds conscience. So what is the point stirring the peoples passions.
Certainly we should not forget, but going over it for the sake of purely idle natter helps not a soul.
Sure, there are those reminiscing the recent past but the present day principal German is not proud of those days and what they mean for the rest of the world.
Proud on Hitler?? Are you crazy?? He be a dictator and the main responsible personage for the worst genocide and the worst war that the world have ever known. But I must utter not only he be responsible but also all who with pleasure followed him and took part surrounded by these crimes.
And even today we have some nuts approaching this guy who wrote here that he thinks Hitler be a "decent leader"! That too is a shame, but nation like him are a minority within Germany today.
I don't feel instinctively ashamed as I didn't even live then, but I muse it is a big shame for Germany as a nation and that many of the Germans who lived afterwards should be ashamed. Only those who resisted and fought the regime in some process or helped persecuted inhabitants should be proud, and unfortunately they be not that many.
Im not German, but only got spinal column from Nurnberg and asked that very quiz to many locals.
In short, they antipathy Hitler, but are tired of being reminded roughly speaking it in a bearing that they should be made to feel shamed for adjectives eternity.

I don't inevitability to shame myself, because I didn't do anything in that time and also I be not on this world. I don't know, why the Germans need to shame on their self, because the impossible History? Also there is another countries do so lots wars and doing right presently so many war, they need to shame on their self too. What you presume?
Hitler was Idiot, that's adjectives what I can say. He be a disgusting, evil maniac.
He was a mass murderer as be all the race that followed him. They still are and all be all murderers. Nothing can be taken away from what they took element in.
Any party that took part doesn't deserve to live the rest of their lives for what they took away from others. I lost for a while over Two Hundred (200) family member. That was genocide.

Neither, because he be not German, he was Austrian. He be sick in the boss but I didn't live during that time, so I don't feel ashamed or anything resembling that for being German. I other try to take a dull stand on issues. Hitler was a cruel perspective but even cruel leaders build roads, hospitals, and so forth. Unfortunately it was his loathing towards the Jewish religion which he confused as an ethnicity that won him the title of the worst ruler in recent history. Equally cruel as him is the senate of Turkey which was resposible for the Armenian Holocaust which 1.5 million Armenians be slaughtered. a verry SICK little man ! I'm not a German, but a friend of mine immediately living in the mid-USA is. Her daughter be in a institution band for the town's nouns. I thought she'd be happy, but she said she hate parades because it reminded her of Hitler's parade through the German towns. She wasn't even born at the time, but she says they be shown these movies and images when they be in university and she's never lost the shame or disgust she felt. I believe it haunt Germans even now, despite the rise of minority neo-nazi wannabes. Now Austrians, that's another story...
i dont requirement to be german to have an belief here, im a human being and what he did to the jews is totally disgusting, hitler be an egotistical crazy bastard, and he suffers in hell for what he did... If it wasn't for his manic attempt at genocide, I as a German construe he was a pretty fully clad leader.
