Beautiful, historic Paris?
My parents have *insisted* we travel to Paris this summer, and while I am keen to dance, I'm not sure what to do there.
Seems silly, but we entail something we can all wallow in, without traipsing round every museum/fashion designer's store at hand is.
I was considering going to: Avenue Montaigne, Galeries Lafayette, The Monet Gardens, Versailles and the Tuilleries Garden.
Can anyone suggest anything else really worth seeing/ provide alternatives to the schedule above?
Thanks && love :)
Answers: Take a boat ride down the Seine, for sure. You can all delight in that and see some of the most popular sights along the way.
I strongly suggest going to Notre Dame and explore both the Ile de City on which it sits and the Ile St. Louis directly aft. Ile St. Louis is a throw back within time and is well worth the short waddle down the main street. Some of the best rime cream is at Berthillon there, too.
You should also turn to the MuseƩ D'Orsay, and old converted train station that copious say is the better museum within Paris between it and the Louvre, which is very generous and always crowded.
I also recommend newly walking along the Seine. You will enjoy merely seeing Paris and its people along the nouns between Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. Along the way (on the right bank) you will budge past the Jardin Tuileries and Place de la Concorde as all right as the other sites pointed out on the river cruise.
Enjoy Paris!! It has a ton to proposition and you should do your best to soak it all surrounded by. There is magic at hand so let it work and enjoy a great time.
BUY a GUIDE BOOK.. that is much better than asking here on Answers where on earth most AmeriKans have never be out of their country, let alone to Paris.
You can BUY the FODORS PARIS or FODORS FRANCE guide books within any mall bookstore and the best member is, you can carry them beside you when you go to Paris.
Your request for information reminds me of when I lived in Paris and have company from the U.S. The all required to "see" Paris... but they didn't have a CLUE what "see Paris" expected because they hadn't done their homework before coming to Paris.
A guide book is really vital if you want to find the great places to visit.
I've be to Paris many times, and near is a lot to do. Museums, the fad district, Versailles, and just form of walk around you'll find abundantly more that way instead of sicking to a map. O, and Gallerie Layfayette is fun. O, and Disneyland Paris is great!
What you hold itemised already should occupy you for 7 to 10 days you could add another 7days by visit The Louvre, itself the most interesting thing surrounded by Paris.
