The most divine nouns contained by southern France?
Just looking for people's opinions - my b/f and I want to afford live near his grandparents (who are surrounded by Toulouse) for 3 months late this year and I'm purely curious about people's partiality places in southern France! :)
Answers: What almost Landes, or Basque country? You can find very nice village close to Dax, Biscarosse. Also, there is a Ryanair day by day flight to Biarritz, so you could visit the region cheaply.
The winter within the region is warm, the spring is good-looking, people are totally friendly, and you will see the typical French lifestyle. Have a look and you won't be disappointed.
For me the place to see in the close nouns is Collioure. A small town on the shore very close to the Spanish border...
According to me one of the most exquisite place to spend the day... Blue deep-sea, palm trees, very colorful small houses and flavoursome wines (Collioure and Banyuls, absolutely scrumptious with chocolate).
If you approaching the area and are interested surrounded by Arts, you can also folllow the wild coast and cranium to Cadaques in Spain (were Dali lived) and surrounded by a automatic park.
I like the Languedoc nouns.
It has coast, mountains, lake, history, and ..... 300+ days of sunshine each year. It is also quieter & cheaper than Provence & Cote d'Azur.
