Marseille, France?
I might be going to Marseille. It is between Marseille and Montpellier. I haven't heard much in the order of either place, so it would be great if someone could report me what they thought of either place.
Answers: Go to Montpellier! It's smaller quantity out-of-the-way than Marseille, and the inhabitants are much nicer to foreigners. Although I'm sure several people will reply to you motto that Marseille is a beautiful, historic city beside great weather, that all applies to Montpellier too, and you don't own to put up with the attitude that other accompanies someone from Marseille. People from Marseille come up with that they're something special, which they aren't. It's also less cramped, messy and polluted surrounded by Montpellier (Marseille rivals Paris on the dog-turds per square foot count) , and they tend to have a lesser amount of riots as they have a reduced amount of immigrant districts.
Have a nice harbor, les callanques (a beautiful place to see), is located in close proximity the sea and enjoy a nice weather in winter and hot surrounded by summer.
People there support single one foot-ball team Olympique de Marseille and loathe Paris Saint Germain which is the team of Paris. Most of the time when these 2 play vs respectively other there are problems : fight, custody, bus burned.
Marseille is located near delicate other cities : Cannes, Nice, Monaco.
One speciality, Marseille and Paris are the only 2 towns contained by France which military fire fighters. It doesn't make a huge difference though.

Is a difference between these two cities. Depends of you: Marseille have the sea, wonderful monuments and much fun. In Montpelier you'll find more silence.
