Why are the French (from France) so rude?
Answers: In part it's the national attitude, contained by part it's a function of their dialogue. Whether one affected the nouns of the other is open to debate. The national attitude is "me first", and can be see not only on a personal even but whenever France has contact with her "allies" or "friends" from other countries. The French speaking is much more direct and aggressive than English too. Just because you use the polite form of address ("vous") in French, you are mortal respectful to someone no matter what you enunciate. As we don't have a polite form of address contained by English we have to use other, more subtle and sophisticated resources to show respect to someone. This is one of the most difficult things to learn contained by English and often accounts for why we find the French to be rude and arrogant, for a direct translation of how French associates speak to each other repeatedly comes out as rude and arrogant in English, even though the French themselves don't even register it.
They are not. I am English and the English within large cities (such as Londoners within the rush hour) are far ruder.
If you smile, and attempt to speak to them - even a few words in French - you will find them within the main to be charming, polite, polite and friendly.
There are exceptions in every country, however: maybe you have be unfortunate.
Better luck within the future. Please keep on
I'm French and i think that you mostly right, within france a lot of ancestors are very uncaring and very direspectful toward other individuals, i think it comes from the teaching ( i'm not like that because my parents raise me to open around other countries and culture all around the world). The French just think around themselves, they think they are the solely country in the world, they don't want to cram english, they don't want american companies because they think that america is inferior to them because they presume they have a better "culture" i'm not agree next to the french this is why i say i'm agree next to your statement
I had no such experience, but next I speak French!
They are all skinny so must be stressed from one hungry all the time.
I'm French and i'm not rude ...
;-)
They aren't! They're lately people resembling we are here in America. If you piss them sour or offend them, they're going to be rude. I be over there for a month studying in a foreign country and the only time I have a "rude" experience was when this drunk idiot contained by our group flicked off the French guys. Of course they're going to be rude later!
Probably because we do not understand their culture .What is rude contained by one culture is acceptable within another. What you asked is a blanket statement and a generalization . It system you say adjectives French people who live contained by France are rude. This is probably not true . It probably comes from meeting a few rude French peopleOf course not adjectives generalizations are not true . You may for example vote, All French people who live surrounded by France can understand French. Even this is not really true for nearby are probably babies and hearing impair people , autistics etc who do not read French even though they are French and live in France.
They weren't awfully rude to me when I was here. I speak French though, and didn't patronize them when they didn't speak English. Treat nation like you want to be treated yourself. Respect them satisfactory to at least try to speak their speech and know a little in the region of their culture before you adjudicate a whole country.
Mostly contained by Paris, just approaching New York, otherwise quite nice.
uhh.. the ppl I met be pretty friendly, but yes, then again , my intact family speaks French. And hey, at tiniest they aren't racist. In some countries, ppl don't give you the time of the hours of daylight just cos you're of a indisputable race!
Just vote "Bonjour!" and maybe they'll thaw up to you.
Not all french ancestors are rude, americans can be rude, germans can be rude, italians can be rude but not everyone is rude! Only some people, and I am a touch bit french and french people are unbelievably nice, only some can be propose, but that is surrounded by everyone country, some people are nice, and some are rude.
They are not rude they in recent times have a different style..every culture or society does.
I own always found the French friendly and devoted
I don't buy your premise. They aren't all rude. I've be to France 5 times and have received well brought-up service and been treated okay consistently.
French people can be assertive, but that doesn't bother me. A lot of Americans are assertive and abundant are rude.
Why are you, Americans, visit France, since the French family are so rude? There are a lot of countries where on earth English is spoken, so.
You're right, the French can be terribly rude, plus they hold using odd insults close to: "your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!" or the more direct "I fart surrounded by your general direction". Occasionally, they will throw a cow at you.
Not exceptionally well learned indeed.
Are they more rude than non-french posting generalized nationality insults on a public board? I deduce not.
I am french (from Paris) but I have be living in the USA for reasonably a while and I am starting to get it. The French give the impression of being rude to you because you are used to politeness and the lack of it is unsettling. French population are in reality very nice and earnest when you get to know them. If you are a stranger, they really do not pass a merde (excuse my french) about you and consequently will not be so polite towards you because they really do not care. When I stir back to France and concordat with strangers, I get the impression now markedly vulnerable close to my armor is gone. I never felt that mode when I was living in attendance because it was everyday. Now that I am used to the american politeness of strangers, I have a totally hard time handling the french rudeness. On the other foot, Americans are always so nice and polite that you do not see the difference between strangers and friends and it sometimes touch all falsified. In France, if somebody is nice to you, you know that person from the bottom of your heart likes you and is your friend.
capably...they just enjoy their own culture..and its different from everybody's.They like using solely their language even though its antisocial...I own been surrounded by france and indeed they are a lil bit rude...but what can you say? in attendance country is amazing! but of course that doesnt suggest they have to be rude...but you know!
In my assessment, I believe that French people are much more bona fide than Americans. Americans tend to kiss up to people, and they habitually have a FALSE "Hi! How are you today!" kind of attitude. So yeah, French population might not exactly open up to you now, but when you get to know them, they're wonderful. Of course, I'm not wise saying that all French relations are genuinely nice, but most of them are. It's a highly different atmosphere in France. In certainty, when my french relatives came to stop by the U.S, they were shocked at how chatty strangers can be! It's quite funny!
not other true
Again, we are stereoptyping and categorizing. There are copious, many French those who are lovely people. But, if one considers the French rude, it is because they defy foreigners coming to their country and not speaking their language within their country. If the foreigner spoke fluent French, you wouldn't find that type of opposition to foreigners. By the instrument, Americans are far more rude to foreigners on this same subject.
It's because you never met me (I'm french, but not a real one because i'm not rude)!
Majority of US tourists forget they are visit another country.
Most US think that whereever they jump, that area belongs to the
them. France because we save them in WW1 or WW2.
I never saw a request from France to expel the Germans.
The request come from the Brits.
Try being friendly and not so pushy and undignified.

cuz they r syuck up thats why they think they're better than everyone
KG
Have you get any idea how rotten it is to be French?
No, really.
Just dream of a little babe-in-arms being born contained by Paris.
To begin near he gurgles and burps but then he starts to grow and past you know it it's his first day at academy.
Some other kid will say something to him within French and he understands it! That's when he realises the awful truth.
"Bugger. I'm French."
Can you imagine what it's close to for that kid, having to grow up knowing that he's French.
The looks from empire in the street as they nudge respectively other and hold their noses.
No wonder they are so rude.
Poor citizens.
They need assist - not scorn.
I miserable, lets facade it.
