Answers: French is of course the through language. There are in reality however more than four languages spoken contained by France.
In the southwest corner they speak Basque.
In Alsace many ethnic group speak German.
In Corsica they speak Corsu or Lingua Corsa.
In Brittany many ethnic group speak Brezhoneg (Breton).
In the North by the Belgian border there are around 20,000 speakers of Vlaemsch (West Flemish)
I would also note that in the region of 10% of the population of metropolitan France is Muslim and therefore can unanimously speak Arabic.
There is also a large Vietnamese population which speaks that communication.
To complete Milleowner's answer. "Langue d'Oc" is the old instrument to talk give or take a few the language spoken surrounded by the South of France (and "langue d'oil" to speak about the French from the north of France) but it is used when we are chitchat about the Middle Age.
Today we confer about "occitan" which is close to Catalan spoken contained by the area of Barcelona -the roots of these two dialects are like peas in a pod.

Spoken contained by central/southwest france, it is in French "la langue d'oc", which give the name of the Languedoc region of France where on earth it is most commonly spoken.
