Moving To France?

My boyfriend and I are thinking about moving to France - does anyone know of some angelic websites to visit for broad information beforehand?

Answers:    The first thing you ought to consider is whether the French affairs of state will permit you to live within France.

Unless you are a citizen of the European Union you have no right to reside within France without the explicit concurrence of the French government. [EDIT: Canadians are NOT citizens of the EU and so this word of warning applies to them also]

Take a look at this to get an hypothesis of what is involved: http://www.consulfrance-washington.org/s...

You might also consider that the unemployment rate contained by France is twice that of the United States and that unemployment amongst young-looking people is around 20%.

And, as you would expect, there is the little problem that family in France speak French. Are you fluent? If not, your employment prospects are outstandingly dim.
no, but i love france i would love love love to live there
Cool! That sounds similar to so much fun!

You could try the CIA Factbook (google those two words and then click on the first link). It have info about population, geography, climate, etc., etc.
This is funny coz greatly of french people travel to work in canada, and in a minute canadians want to come back to France^^ cool
Well, nearby won't be any snow in France, that's a shame. And the cost of living is extraordinarily high. And the taxes are giant too. And the salaries are low. And near are a lot of strikes. But we do own great restaurants...

I don't know administrative informations to reside within France, but if you need some informations more or less Paris, prices for living, good places if not, you can write te me; I'm french and I live in Paris.

But as Rilifan said, it's better for you to speak for a time french and it's difficult to find a job here...but if you are fluent within French and English you can find some jobs where on earth it's needed.
