4 1/2 hours within France, can i travel verbs see?

I am traveling to Europe later today. I hold a 4 1/2 hour layover in Ch. De Gaulle airport. Is that adequate time to travel to the center of Paris see the Eiffel tower and get pay for in time to clear my flight? Also would i need to bring a taxi, or is the subway system glib to navigate for someone that speaks zero French?

Thanks,
S

Answers:    That's adjectives it a little close. I wouldn't try it if I be you.
You are cutting it really close, although surrounded by theory you could do it. Is it really worth the stress? Perhaps you can tout the residential nouns near the airport only just to get a impression of France.
that's totally pointless, if you want to see Paris, have ur final destination be Paris, its such a wonderful city. eiffel tower, quartier latin, sacre coeur, montmatre, notre dame, musee d'orsay, the LOUVRE (mona lisa) and adjectives the cool accordeon music u hear in some areas and glimses of the eiffel tower contained by various spots approaching from the ARC DE TRIOMPHE paris is my fav. city in europe, and im going final there and the riveria for 9 days for spring break 07 SERIOUSLY JUST VISIT PARIS SOOOOO COOL TOTALLY UNDER RATED
i'd patently take a hackney carriage since you're not familiar next to the subway, that will cost you a lot of time no business how you look at it. i think the city is helpful of far away from the airport but i could be wrong. if its less than partly an hour, i'd do it. take a hackney carriage there and stern.
Hi,

I live in Paris.
I chew over it will be very difficult because you want at least 45 mn to jump to Paris Center by Subway (RER) and there, you can easely see La cathédrale "Notre Dame de Paris" in the vicinity the "Saint-Michel" Station...
But If you want to go to see the Eiffel Tower, you requirement 20 minutes mores by changing of subways...

By Taxi, it will be a actual lottery because of the traffic jam : you can do your tour to simply "have a glance" but it will be a bet : to hold or not to have your flight ;-(((

PS : There's nought to see around Charles de Gaule Airport ;-(((
Save 3 hours of that time for traffic; that means you'll own time for a quick lunch surrounded by Arr. 1.
It should be and I would Take a taxi because it will drop you and pick you up right away and You will not be capable of go up the eiffel tower surrounded by 4 hours.

Get back to the airport contained by 2 hours though because you need to board and because of the clean checkpoints
You could do well to obtain past the terminal and to your connecting flight surrounded by time. Forget about Eiffel.
time for a prompt lunch
you would have adequate time, but I wouldn't do it if i were you because it would be adjectives close and you wouldn' really be able to delight in yourself in that amount of time. If you really want to, than give somebody a lift the subway because the traffic in france usually is doomed to failure around there and if you speak no french, you should definetly embezzle a taxi.
Don't do it
Probably not...airlines in a minute are requesting 1-2 hours arrival time before flight. You would own to leave the concourse.
It take 45 minutes each path from the airport to the center of Paris. Since checkin at the airport is usually 2 hours before departure, I don't construe so.
If I were you, I would clutch a cab and drive around the airport. Too little time. Bonne destiny!
I wouldn't. It'd be to much trouble. I've been to Paris, and really, you can catch caught up beside how pretty everything is.
4 and a half hours is probably not ample time to go into the city and return contained by time to check in again and turn through security again, beside the new restrictions contained by security. However if adjectives you wanted to see be the eiffel tower, not to climb it or see anything else in the city, it is possible for somebody who speaks no french at adjectives to take the metro. You would call for to speak to an agent at the metro station who would sell you your ticket, endow with you a map, and tell you how to bring back to the eiffel tower. However, CDG is reasonably far from the eiffel tower and it would be obligatory to make strip changes on the metro, or it would lift about an hour to attain to the eiffel tower in a hackney cab. Honestly i don't think you enjoy enough time to see the eiffel tower. Sorry, but hope this help
