!HELP: Can I check out of France after my first entry beside a French working visa?
I am getting a french working visa, and they will issue a three month and single entry to me. Then I will go to France, own the health check, etc, consequently I will get a resident card within France.
I heard that the process to return with a resident card will need more or less 2-3 months, but I plan to go to Egypt for time off in begining of Oct. Will I hold the problem to enter into France after my Egypt vacation?
How can I do? Can I sign out france to Eygpt in Oct.? or I enjoy to stay in France until I receive the local resident card?
Thanks for your help.
Answers: You should be OK for your trip to Egypt.
I've get my entry visa and I'm waiting for my medical appointment.
On the Visa it says it's valid for "France (+1 Transit Schengen)". It also say that it is a Multiple Entry Visa. I take that as have priority and I can come and go as I want within France while this process plays out. I'm not 100% sure what the former means exactly. But it doesn't product sense to me that France would want people to be 'imprisoned' surrounded by the country while the bureaucracy works its slow magic.
Of course, check beside the prefecture or with the agency helping you beside this process.
I think the single SAFE way for you to grasp a correct answer to your question is to contact the French Consulate and ask them. Contact the SAME bureau that will be giving you the work visa. They can answer your question.
