Can someone (preferably someone who has lived surrounded by Provence or studied it) tell me what nationality of people live here and its cultural roots, culture/heritage? Thank you and if you know fluent french please message me, I would like someone to aid me proofread...

Im french, native from Aix en Provence.
Provence have been for a long time a land. So we have our proper dialect, which is not really talk today. I would say Provence is a mix between seriously of civilisations. Fristly, we have this property to be mediteranean. In this spectacle, there are profoundly of people who come during the years 60's in Provence. For example within is a lot of People originary from Spain which gone Franco during The WorldWar II, Italian, Corsican, Africans, North aFricans, Greeks, Armenians...
I think, the most essential thing to voice about these empire: is that we all born surrounded by Provence, we all speak next to this tipical accent and anything our origins we build our region for the future because we adjectives feel "Provencaux" (From Provence).
