Unfortunately (from my point of view) the Dance audience there where on earth Josephine Baker and Simone de Beauvoir used to go to rumba the tango has presently been given over to trendy modern music. Then there's the mythical Slow club at 130 rue de Rivoli in the 1st arrondissement on the Right Bank which still serves up Jazz, dixieland, and concrete Rock.
Le Caveau de la Huchette at 5, rue de la Huchette in the 5th is another classic beside jitterbug, swing and jive and a wide inventory of ages.
